Individual Therapy
One of the greatest challenges is to be able to apply what has been learned outside the protected framework of therapy. That is why we at JuCare understand autism-specific therapy as behavioral therapy and systemic work with a clear focus on the transfer to everyday life and the individual living environment. In this way, individual progress becomes something that is sustainable in real situations and stabilises in the long term.
Therapy in Individual Contact
Therapy goals and methods are constantly reviewed as part of an initial and follow-up diagnosis and adapted to current circumstances.
Learning from each Other
This is the only way to consolidate and try out what has been learned in an important social space. Again and again, children and young people come together in this way and maintain contact in their private lives.
Steps to a Therapy Place
Involving the whole Family in Therapeutic Help
The aim is to give parents confidence in dealing with their child and to provide autism-specific explanations and methods to support and encourage the child in the best possible way. Siblings are also actively involved in the therapeutic process and have the opportunity to be informed about the special characteristics of their sibling and have unanswered questions answered at their own appointments.
This understanding helps to strengthen family relationships and resources. In addition, sibling workshops offer the opportunity to deal with one’s own situation and needs and to share experiences as a group.
Institutional Consulting
Because it is not only the person with autism who has to adapt, their environment must also provide a suitable framework for them to develop and make the world around them compatible in an autistic way.
