Core Therapeutic Approach

Our core understanding of therapy is based on the “3 pillar model”. We do not work exclusively with the child, but also actively involve the child’s family and environment (school, club, etc.).

We support our clients’ participation in all areas of life. In close cooperation with the family and network, we open up new perspectives for the best possible inclusion.

Our therapeutic approach is based on the humanistic view of mankind. Our therapies are characterized by authenticity, empathy and unconditional appreciation (Carl Rogers). With us, people are allowed to “be”, with all their facets, feelings and behaviors.

Individual-centered

We look at each client in an appreciative, unbiased and curious way with a view to their individual resources and challenges

Family-centered

With our systematic approach, we support families e.g. through parent counseling, involvement of siblings and structuring methods for everyday family life

Environment-centered

We are committed to creating conditions in schools, sports clubs and leisure activities that are tailored to the needs of our clients in order to enable participation

Inclusion as a further development of integration and as a legal right to participation in all areas of life focuses on diversity as a form of society. It is no longer about making people with special needs “fit” into the environment, but about offering them help to live in this colorful world in a self-determined and accepting way in their individuality. Many children, young people and their families know from their own experience that this attitude is not easy to implement.

Autism therapy offers help to adapt to environmental requirements and it offers help to make the environment suitable. For this reason, we believe that autism-specific therapy is always an offer for the child’s living environment.

This understanding of therapy is not new. However, we strive to consistently implement this understanding in our therapy services.
