As a specialist or assistant in pre-school and school inclusion, school support is a young field of work that is constantly evolving in terms of its standards and professional role. To support this process, we co-founded the Bundesfachverband Schulbegleitung e.V. in 2021 together with other stakeholders.
In addition to digital offers, annual specialist conferences are held on various topics relating to school support and school inclusion. Scientific support and nationwide professional and political networking enable the association to be a valuable source of information and advice for school support staff and service providers. The professional association enjoys a great response from practitioners throughout Germany and and ever-growing number of members.
In our therapeutic work with children, adolescents and their parents, we often have to deal with the issue of living outside the family and living in connection to an educational facility, among other reasons.
In this case our close cooperation with Villa Argo is a great resource for us. Villa Argo offers our children and adolescents on the autism spectrum a safe and developmentally supportive environment that is tailored to their individual needs. Issues from therapy and the residential area can be dealt with effectively thanks to the mutual presence.

The close cooperation between JuCare and the Carpe Diem private schools in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler and Willich has developed in recent years, primarily through the focus on various autism-specific training courses for the staff and teaching units for the pupils at Carpe Diem.
The close exchange and cross-help cooperation has created a productive network between JuCare and Carpe Diem that benefits the children and adolescents at both institutions. The two cooperation partners complement each other perfectly with the areas of autism therapy and further education on the one hand, and the possibility of a very good school connection and the opportunity to attend boarding school on the other.
