School Companion Coaching

School Inclusion staff work independently and autonomously in their field as educational professionals. This distinguishes them as professionals. However, if they want to carry out their work professionally and effectively in the long term, they also need support in the form of professional advice and supervision. This support – which is important for the school sector – is implemented at JuCare with a specially developed coaching concept, which plays a key role in the professional integration of the inclusion process in schools.

JuCare has successfully introduced and developed this coaching concept on the basis of many years of experience in pedagogical and psychological work in schools as one of the first providers of school inclusion.

Our team leaders offer coaching and supervision for our school inclusion staff in order to provide the best possible support for pupils with individual support needs and to ensure the best possible integration into school processes and cooperation with the various teachers. The special focus here is on pupils who have a diagnosis on the autism spectrum. The team leaders also have experience and knowledge of so-called “inclusive didactics”, a teaching method that takes into account the different individual needs of pupils in order to provide them with optimal support. Especially with regard to the field of activity of school inclusion, which is still not clearly defined, there is a need for supportive navigation for specialist school inclusion.

Fulfilling the Right to Autonomy with Educational Professionals

The team leaders are guarantors for the “view from the outside” and for the professionally sound cooperation between school inclusion as an integration aid on the one hand and teachers in their educational responsibility or educational mandate on the other.
Our team leaders prevent the development of operational blindness through continuous reflection and consultation and support the networking of the multi-professional team in the school. In the consultation and supervision process, the team leaders recognize stress factors in the field of work of the school inclusion staff in good time and support their employees with resource-activating and health-promoting measures to relieve their workload.

In the consultation and supervision process, the team leaders recognize stress factors in the field of work of the school assistants in good time and counteract them with resource-activating and health-promoting measures. JuCare provides a well-founded health promotion program for this purpose, which is available to all school inclusion staff and is also offered continuously as a preventive measure.
